TIFF 2011-Day 2

So, the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival began on Thursday September 8 and hundreds of huge stars have been coming in to the city, such as: Catherine Deneuve, Charlotte Rampling, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Clive Owen, Gerard Butler, Jeon Do-Yeon, Jon Hamm, Shahid Kapoor, Michael Fassbender, Michelle Yeoh, Freida Pinto, Glenn Close, Matthew Goode, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rachel Weisz, Ryan Gosling, Salma Hayek, Viggo Mortensen, Woody Harrelson and MANY MANY MORE! Anyways, on Thursday, the opening night gala of the U2 Bio-doc From the Sky Down featured appearances from U2 and thousands of screaming fans. I did not go to this screening and took the night off to rest in preparation for my busy weekend. As I am a student, on Friday I went to school and afterwards, went down to the Ryerson Theatre for the world premiere screening of the film Friends with Kids, directed by Jennifer Westfieldt, starring her, Adam Scott, Jon Hamm, Megan Fox, Kristin Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Chris o'dowd and others. Jennifer, Jon, Megan and Adam were present and gave a question and answer period after the film. I asked a question that both Jon and Jennifer answered and afterwards I got to speak to Adam Scott and get his autograph! That was wonderful! Anyways, I then went down to see the frenzy that what is George Clooney and Ryan Gosling's new film The Ides of March. It was absolutely crazy! Crazy! Anyways, I then went home.
